1. Using CreateBooth
By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. Keep your account details accurate and your login secure. You are responsible for activity you authorise through your account. If you are not old enough to enter a contract where you live, you need a parent or guardian’s permission.
2. Your content and your guests
You keep the rights you hold in your photos, recordings, messages, artwork and prompts. You give CreateBooth permission to store, process and display this content as needed to deliver the features you request, including AI processing, galleries, guestbooks, prints and sharing. Rights in AI output may depend on applicable law and model-provider terms; we do not guarantee that it is unique or copyright-protected.
Only capture, upload or share content you are entitled to use. Explain the booth to your guests and obtain the permissions needed for photography, audio, publication and AI processing. Obtain appropriate parent or guardian permission for children. Uploaded designs must not infringe anyone else’s rights.
3. Acceptable use
Do not use CreateBooth for unlawful, abusive, exploitative, hateful or infringing content, to mislead others with impersonation, or to attempt to bypass provider safety controls. Do not interfere with the service, abuse credits or access someone else’s account or content. We may restrict content or access where reasonably necessary to prevent abuse or protect people and the service.
4. Free access, Event Pass and Premium
The free event experience currently allows 20 captures. Premium features require an eligible Premium subscription or Event Pass. An Event Pass applies to its event and does not renew. Premium subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled through your Apple account. The purchase screen shows the current price, billing period, inclusions and any eligibility conditions before you buy.
Apple handles personal-app payments, renewals, cancellations and refund requests; RevenueCat manages purchase access. Manage subscriptions in your Apple account. To request an App Store refund, visit Apple’s refund service. Your applicable consumer rights continue to apply. If Apple’s Standard EULA applies to your download, you can read it here.
5. AI features and credits
AI generation requires internet, eligible feature access and sufficient credits. Credits do not by themselves unlock Premium or Event Pass features. Personal credit packs are in-app purchases. The app shows the model and credit charge before you confirm a generation. Prompt testing also uses credits at its displayed test rate and is subject to a daily test limit.
We reserve credits when a generation starts and charge for successful results. A failed generation releases its reserved credits. AI results can be unexpected, alter faces or differ from examples; a technically successful result is not guaranteed to match your artistic expectations. Review your source photo and test custom styles before an event.
Premium currently includes 30 AI credits per paid month. Unused included credits roll over, and purchased credits are recorded separately. Access to AI still requires an eligible plan or Event Pass. Credits are not cash and cannot be exchanged for money. We show applicable purchase terms and balances in the app.
AI photos and prompts are sent to fal.ai and the selected model provider only after the AI permission step. Read our AI privacy disclosure. Once submitted, a generation may continue in the background. Safety checks or provider limits can prevent generation; exact completion times are not guaranteed.
6. Galleries, links and guestbooks
You decide when to publish a gallery and who receives its link. Anyone with a published gallery or individual-photo link may be able to open it. Unpublishing a gallery does not recall copies already downloaded or necessarily disable separate media links.
The private guestbook viewer requires a host password. The host link expires 30 days after the event ends; entries are retained for owner access and export. The password protects the viewer rather than every underlying media URL. Protect passwords and links and download the memories you want to keep. Gallery live periods and any extension options are shown in the app.
For free personal events, cloud capture media is scheduled for permanent removal 30 days after the event was created. Media placed in trash is scheduled for permanent removal after 30 days in trash, subject to earlier expiry. Keep your own copies of important memories. Gallery publication, hosting expiry and private guestbook access are separate: use the dates and options shown in the app. Preparing an export or opening the system share sheet does not confirm that files have been saved to your chosen destination; check that destination yourself. A media export is not a full backup of your event settings or account.
7. Equipment, connectivity and availability
Check your device, storage, internet and any external camera or printer before an event. Hardware compatibility varies. Offline captures need a connection before online delivery is complete. Confirm uploads have finished and keep your own copies before removing local media.
We aim to provide a reliable service, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access or third-party availability. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence. We remain responsible where applicable consumer law requires it; we do not accept responsibility for losses that are not reasonably foreseeable.
8. Closing your account
You can request account deletion in Settings. Some purchase, security or accounting records may need to be retained; see our privacy policy. Deleting the app or account does not itself cancel an Apple subscription—cancel it in your Apple account too. We may suspend accounts for material breaches of these terms, with notice where reasonably possible.
9. Changes and upcoming features
We may update these terms and identify changes by the date above. Where required, we will give notice of material changes. Features marked “coming soon”, including the public business dashboard, are plans rather than part of a current purchase. Do not purchase based on a promised future feature.
